The Head of the State Archival Service of Ukraine Anatolii Khromov, the Head of the Odesa Regional State Administration Serhiy Hrynevetsky and the Director of the State Archives of the Odessa Region Petro Lukyanchuk held a working meeting.

   The main issue was the relocation of the of the State Archives of Odesa region to a building that would meet all the requirements for the preservation of more than 1 million cases from the emergency building of Brod Synagogue, which was also returned to the property of the Jewish religious community in 2016 in accordance with the decision of the Odessa Regional Council.

  During the meeting, attention was paid to the issues of the regional archives in the context of the territorial and administrative reform, in particular the advisability of transferring premises in the regions for the centralized storage of archival documents in the field, and also discussed issues of archive institutions in conditions of quarantine and program of creation of insurance fond of documentation (SFD) in Odessa region.

  In addition, during a working visit, Anatolii Khromov inspected the premises for a potential archival department of the Odessa District State Administration.
