  • “Destroyed and damaged documents at war”, Anatolii Khromov at Studio ČT24 Česka Televize

    On April, 30, 2022, Anatolii Khromov, the Head of the State Archival Service of Ukraine, answered the questions about archives conditions, their preservation during war and the modern view of further development to the Vitaliia Tokarchuk in a program Studio ČT24 Česka Televize. 

    The State Archival Service of Ukraine and Ukrainian archivists are doing everything to ensure the safety of documentary heritage and its evacuation. At the same time, according to preliminary information, the documents from the archival department in Volnovakha were moved by the occupiers to Donetsk. 

    Anatolii Khromov highlighted that the goal of Ukrainian archives is to preserve a complete complex of documents of various forms and origins, which will provide an opportunity for our descendants to discover all the aspects of Ukraine’s development, including the events of russian war in Ukraine.
