    Database “Ukrainian martyrology of the XXth century” is replenished with information about 2735 repressed individuals

    Database “Ukrainian martyrology of the XXth century”, which is available on a official webportal of the State Archival Service of Ukraine, is replenished with 2735 new cards about individuals, who suffered from repressions, including 279 photo documents.  

    Central State Electronic Archives of Ukraine processed the information provided by State Archives of Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Transcarpathian, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Poltava, Sumy, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi and Chernivtsi regions and added it to the popular online resource.  

    As of June 16, 2022, in an above-mentioned database the information about 89936 repressed individuals is available online for a broad audience.

    Reminder: 

    “Ukrainian martyrology of the XXth century” — is an records-searching online-project posted on the official web-portal of the State Archival Service of Ukraine and contains brief information about the victims of repressions of the 1920s-1950s. In particular: a photo portrait or several photographs (if available), the name of the victim and a brief description of the occupation, dates of life, rehabilitation record, links to the archive where archival files are kept and other relevant materials.  Database “Ukrainian martyrology of the XXth century” was presented by the Head of the State Archival Service of Ukraine Anatolii Khromov, on November 6, 2020, during a press-conference in Ukrinform.
