  • News of digitization of documents by state archives: a digest for November 2022

    Despite the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine, Ukrainian archivists continue to work and digitize documents of the National Archival Fond for their preservation and accessibility for users of archival information.

    Please note that due to periodic and emergency power outages, the departmental information resources of archives may be temporarily unavailable. 

    • During November 2022, the Central State Archives of Supreme Bodies of Power and Government of Ukraine posted on its official website posted 192 inventories of 99 archival fonds in the section “PDF Descriptions”/«Описи PDF». Today, 6,062 volumes of archival inventories are available for users: https://tsdavo.gov.ua

    To the Е-resource of the Central State Archives of Supreme Bodies of Power and Government of Ukraine were uploaded 30 060 scan-copies of documents from 271 files: https://e-resource.tsdavo.gov.ua/fonds/

    • The Central State Archives of Public Organizations and Ukrainica in November uploaded to the E-resource 5 volumes (1267 scan-copies) of archival criminal files of the fond 263 “Collection of extrajudicial cases of rehabilitated individuals (1918–1950)”: https://cdago.org.ua/tags-type/4/

    • The State Archives of Volyn Region in the section “Electronic archive” posted 25 more archival criminal files of non-judicial bodies for 1939-1989: from the fond 4666 “Committee of State Security (KGB) under the Council of Ministers of the Ukrainian SSR in the Volyn Region, Lutsk, Volyn Region” for citizens repressed by the Soviet authorities and rehabilitated in accordance with the established procedure: https://cutt.ly/EGgFlrw

    • The State Archives of Kyiv Region continues to post new digital copies of almost 3000 filtering files: №24541-30505. Therefore, more than 14,000 cases of repatriates are already freely available. “Filtering files of repatriates of Kyiv region”  – an information resource that provides a quick search for the necessary information by the name of the repatriate or by the number of the filtering file.
