In the mid-February 2023, the “Ukrainian martyrology of the XXth century” database was replenished with cards about 1688 victims, including 502 new photo documents. Central State Audiovisual and Electronic Archives of Ukraine processed the information provided by the Central State Archives of Public Organizations and Ukrainica and by the state archives of Zhytomyr, Lviv and Cherkasy regions.
From now on, the information on 107 559 repressed individuals is available in the database.

“Ukrainian martyrology of the XXth century” — is an records-searching online-project posted on the official web-portal of the State Archival Service of Ukraine and contains brief information about the victims of repressions of the 1920s-1950s. In particular: a photo portrait or several photographs (if available), the name of the victim and a brief description of the occupation, dates of life, rehabilitation record, links to the archive where archival files are kept and other relevant materials.
Database “Ukrainian martyrology of the XXth century” was presented by the Head of the State Archival Service of Ukraine Anatolii Khromov, on November 6, 2020, during a press-conference in Ukrinform.
