As part of his business trip to Salt Lake City (USA), the Head of the State Archival Service of Ukraine, Anatolii Khromov, had another meeting with the President of the International Council on Archives, Josée Kirps. They discussed how to protect Ukrainian archives – the national memory of Ukraine, from loss, which today are under threat due to russia’s war against Ukraine.

Josée Kirps noted that “international partnership and cooperation are important in combination with the courage and dedication of Ukrainian archivists working in difficult conditions”, and once again assured Anatolii Khromov of the support and solidarity of the international archival community with Ukrainian archivists.

They also discussed important issues of the program of the upcoming ICA congress in Abu Dhabi (UAE).
