  • Ukrainian-Polish exhibition dedicated to Marzelii Lukovich

    On May 29, 2023, Anatolii Khromov, the Head of the State Archival Service of Ukraine, took part in the opening ceremony of the Ukrainian-Polish exhibition “Marcelii Lukovych (1889–1979): Doctor of Medicine, Military Doctor, Public Figure, Polish Patriot” at the Museum of the University of Warsaw.

    The documentary exhibition is the result of the cooperation of Ukrainian and Polish archivists and scientists. The exhibition presents documents from a unique family collection, and the work on it is evidence of fruitful and constructive cooperation of the state and private archives.
    The exhibition is supported by the Mayor of Toruń Michal Zaleski, General Director of the State Archives of Poland Paweł Pietrzyk, and Head of the State Archival Service of Ukraine Anatolii Khromov.

    The curators of the exhibition are the deputy director of the Institute of History and Archival Studies of the Faculty of History of Nicolaus Copernicus University, prof. Macei Krotofil and the Head of the Scientific Society of the History of Diplomacy and International Relations, prof. Iryna Matiash.
    The exhibition is mobile, its content has already been displayed in Toruń, Chojnice. After being exhibited in Warsaw, the exhibition will be presented in other cities of Poland. In Ukraine, its opening is planned in Lviv.
