On October 5, 2023, the Head of the State Archival Service of Ukraine, Anatolii Khromov, received the delegation of the International Alliance for the Protection of Heritage in Conflict Areas (ALIPH) led by its Executive Director, Valéry Freland. The main topic of the discussion was the implementation of the grant agreement between ALIPH and the State Archival Service of Ukraine, and the Directorate for operation of the buildings` complex of the central state archival institutions of Ukraine on the reconstruction of underground archival storages. The further support of the Foundation to the Ukrainian archives to ensure their sustainable operation during the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine was also discussed.

ALIPH Foundation was represented by project managers Alexandra Fiebig, Elsa Urtizverea, and consultant Daryna Zhyvohliadova. The State Archival Service of Ukraine was represented by the Deputy Head, Tetiana Shevchenko, the Head of the Communication Department, Yulia Prylepisheva, and the Head Specialist of the Department of International Cooperation, Iryna Zhaloba. The Deputy Director of the Directorate for operation of the buildings` complex of the central state archival institutions of Ukraine, Valerii Polupan, also took part in the meeting. The representatives of the ALIPH Foundation were accompanied by journalists Claire Bommelaer and Thomas Rague.
