On January 3, Czech colleagues presented the results of the first pilot project implemented by the State Archival Service of Ukraine together with the Institute for Studies of Totalitarian Regimes of the Czech Republic.
The first part, more than a thousand, of digitized documents of archival and investigative files from the fond 2558, stored in the State Archives of the Transcarpathian region, has been published. Those are the files against Czechoslovaks imprisoned during World War II and sentenced to three or more years in labor camps.
Reminder: On February 4, 2020, in Prague, a Cooperation Agreement between the State Archival Service of Ukraine, the Institute for Studies of Totalitarian Regimes of the Czech Republic and Security Service Archive of the Czech Republic was signed. From the Ukrainian side the Agreement was signed by the Head of the State Archival Service of Ukraine Anatolii Khromov.
