    Anatolii Khromov introduced the new director of the Central State Historical Archives of Ukraine, Kyiv

       Today the Head of the State Archival Service of Ukraine Anatoliy Khromov, introduced the staff of the new director of the Central State Historical Archives of Ukraine, Kyiv Oleh Babenko.

       In his speech, Anatolii Khromov noted the priority areas of archival development and reminded that archives should be humanized, and called the team to fruitful work.

      Oleh Babenko, thanked the Management for the trust, shared his experience with the audience and reported that one of the main tasks in his work is to build a modern information society.

      Oleh Babenko was appointed as director of the Central State Historical Archives of Ukraine in Kiev by the order of the State Archival Service of Ukraine №154-os of June 2, 2021.

    For reference. Oleh Babenko has three higher education: in 1993 he graduated from the Philological faculty of the Central State Pedagogical Institute named after V. K. Vynnychenko with a degree  «Ukrainian language and literature» in 2005 he graduated from the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Institute of State Administration of the National Academy of State Administration under the President of Ukraine «State Administration» and in 2017 graduated from Central University National Technical University in the direction of «Information, library and archive business».

    Before his appointment to this post he worked as Deputy Director of the Central State Archive of Foreign Ukrainians. In addition, he was the director of the State Archives of the Kirovohrad region, the adviser to the head of the Kirovohrad regional state administration and the Deputy Head of the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Kirovohrad region State Administration.
