On November 19, 2021 with the participation of the Head of the State Archival Service of Ukraine Anatolii Khromov, Director of the Central State Historical Archive of Ukraine in Kyiv Oleh Babenko and Director of the Central State Historical Archive of Ukraine in Lviv Olesya Stefanyk were signed cooperation agreements with FamilySearch International (USA). From the FamilySearch corporation side the event was attended by Oleksandr Sichkarenko — the corporation’s official representative in Ukraine.

Since the Memorandum of Cooperation between FamilySearch and State Archival Service of Ukraine was signed, nine state archives of Ukraine have joined the cooperation with this institution. At least three more similar agreements are planned to be signed by the end of the year.
