  • New documents of Ukrainian diaspora figure, Council of Europe deputy Stefan Terletsky received at the Central State Archives of Foreign Archival Ucrainica

    Stefan Terletsky’s future fund is replenished with a selection of new materials from the first ethnic Ukrainian who was a member of the British Parliament, an adviser to Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, a businessman, philanthropist.
    The archive has received various documents about Stefan’s election campaign. Terletsky, as a representative of the Conservative Party, correspondence with members of the British Parliament, documents regarding his visit to the USSR as part of a delegation of parliamentarians in 1990, and the celebration of the 1000th anniversary of the Baptism of Russia in the United Kingdom (988–1988).
    For the first time, Stefan Terletsky’s unpublished literary works in Ukrainian (poems, essays, etc.) were sent to the archive. A separate set of documents on the new arrival tells of his many years of work on the book of memoirs “From War to Westminster.”
