    News of digitization of documents by state archives: a digest for April 2022.

    Despite the full-scale russian aggression against Ukraine, Ukrainian archivists are continuing to work and digitize the National Archival Fond’s documents, in order to preserve them and provide for the users of archival records.  

    We are presenting our traditional monthly digest of digitized documents for April, 2022:  

    Central State Archives of Public Organizations of Ukraine also added new digitized files to the online project “Administrative decisions of the highest political leadership of Ukraine 1919-1991” and other documents. Link: https://cdago.org.ua/inventories/3/.

    • Central State Archives of Supreme Bodies of Power and Government of Ukraine uploaded to the E-resource digital copies of documents on Jewish population of the Ukrainian revolution 1917-1921 period. 

    Central State Archives of Supreme Bodies of Power and Government of Ukraine also posted 86 inventories of fonds of the state authorities of Ukraine, the former USSR and the Ukrainian SSR, and other documents: https://archives.gov.ua/ua/відновлено-доступ-до-оцифрованих-док/.

    • Central State Historical Archives of Ukraine in Kyiv in sections “Reference apparatus” and “E-Directory” published electronic copies of 140 inventories of fond 127 and 50 inventories of fond 128 —

    • Central State Historical Archives of Ukraine in Lviv published new digitized documents in “E-Archive” section: https://tsdial.archives.gov.ua/index14.html
    • Central State CinePhotoPhono Archives of Ukraine named after H. Pshenychnyi added 9 560 new accounts for phonodocuments: https://avd-tsdkffa.archives.gov.ua/#tab-3.
    • State Archives of Volyn Region published on its official website new 160 archival criminal files of non-judicial bodies for 1938–1992 of fond 4666: https://cutt.ly/EGgFlrw.
    • State Archives of Kyiv Region posted 120 000 scans (343 inventories) of the fond P-5634: https://cutt.ly/QF7yLNX.
    • State Archives of Rivne Region continues the work on the project “Archives online”. On the official website are published 164 digitized inventories of the occupation period. 
    • State Archives of Sumy Region completed the digitization of the documents of the fond 1. 175 units of storage (1804 – 1919) are digitized and posted online: https://daso.archives.gov.ua/wp-content/earchives/r1p05.php.
    • State Archives of Khmelnytskyi Region published on its website 28 new digitized inventories of the fond 315 and 24 inventories of the fond 685. Those documents are the most popular among researchers. All of the, are available on the official website of the archive. 
    • State Archives of Cherkasy Region published electronic copies of the 71 inventories of 46 archival fonds of the period after 1917. 
    • State Archives of Chernivtsi Region published new digitized inventories of the pre-Soviet period:  https://cv.archives.gov.ua/opusu/opusu2.html.

    State Archives of Chernivtsi Region also offers to get acquainted with periodicals of the Soviet era – newspaper “Soviet Bukovyna”: https://cv.archives.gov.ua/radbuk.html. Reminder — the Digest is a monthly online-compilation of digitized documents by all state archival institutions published on the official website of the State Archival Service of Ukraine and contains brief information on newly published National Archival Fond’s documents, reference apparatus, inventories, etc.
