    Resource “Archives of Crimea” is replenished with new documents

    To the section “Archives of Crimea” were added new copies of documents of 2 190 files (127 496 sheets) from the fonds of the State Archives in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. 

    From now on, the total volume of the published information on the resource is 6 625 files (2 files — State Archive of the Sevastopol city, 6 623 — State Archives in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea), the size of which is 388 GB.

    Thanks to the electronic resource “Archives of Crimea” the State Archival Service of Ukraine at least partially renewed the access to the temporarily lost archival documents  of the State Archives of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol. Visitors to the web-portal of the State Archival Service of Ukraine now have a chance to discover their family tree and find out about the fate of their relatives, who were repressed during the totalitarian communist regime in Crimea.

    Reminder:

    On December 10, 2021 in Ukrinform, the Head of the State Archival Service of Ukraine Anatolii Khromov presented online access to the 30 files of archival documents of the governmental bodies responsible for repressions and victims of the communist totalitarian regime in Crimea of 1920 – beginning of 1940, from the fond 6 (P) “Criminal Files Fond. Terminated” of the Branch State Archives of the Security Service of Ukraine.
