    The Slovak National Archives provided copies of archival documents for Ukrainian archives

    State Archival Service of Ukraine with the direct participation of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Slovak Republic and with the assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine received from the Slovak National Archive copies of archival documents on Ukrainian topics, which were handed over Central State Archive of Foreign Ukrainians and the State archive of the Transcarpathian region.

       These are documents from the fond “National Government in Bratislava (1920) 1928-1938

    (1940) – Presidium», archival boxes № 227 (inventory number 604) and 232 (inventory number 607), the fond of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (1938–1938) », archive box № 14 (inventory number 136), fond “Ministry of Foreign Affairs (1939-1945)”, archive boxes № 112 and № 113 (inventory number 65) and № 967 (inventory number 453), fond “Police Directorate in Bratislava, 1920-1950”, archive box 492 (inventory number 2664, sign MAT 218/15).

       According to the content, copies of archival documents and phyllocardial samples were obtained

    materials that chronologically date back to 1936–1939 apply life of the Czechoslovak province “Subcarpathian Russia” (“Transcarpathian Ukraine “, etc.), its population -” Russians from Ukraine” and in total give some information and form new ideas about socio-economic situation and living conditions in Czechoslovakia, primarily in its province, which geographically corresponds to the modern one Transcarpathian region of ethnic Ukrainians (Transcarpathia, Presov, Greater Ukraine in Podebrady) and together with others available in the fonds of TsDAZU and the State Archives of the Zakarpattia region with documents on this topic, create an appropriate integrated documentary complex “Ukrainians on territories of Czech and Slovak state formations “.

        The Slovak National Archives agreed to use copies of these archival documents in research and educational activities Ukrainian archives, especially in events dedicated to the 30th anniversary

    independence of Ukraine and other information events (exhibition and publishing projects, including online, with publication on official websites of the State Archival Service of Ukraine, TsDAZU, the State Archives of the Zakarpattia region) from indicating the search data and storage of the originals of these documents. This will make the documents available to users.

        This is the first step in resuming the negotiation process between Ukrainian and Slovak parties in the direction of establishing bilateral interdepartmental cooperation in the field of archival affairs, signing Memorandum on cooperation and implementation of joint projects.
