He also outlined the directions of future cooperation, emphasizing the importance of learning from the experience of Croatian colleagues precisely today, when of the State Archive of Ukraine is preparing a new draft law on archives in Ukraine, and aiming at the implementation of European archival policies, especially with regard to the accessibility of archival retrospective information to a wide range of users. Another area of concern is the exchange of experience, especially in the area of digitization of archives and the restoration of archives, and the organization of training courses for archivists from both sides

The head of the Croatian State Archives, Dinka Chatur, supported his colleague and stressed that Croatian archivists had wanted to organize a meeting with a delegation of Ukrainian archivists as early as last year, but this was prevented by quarantine due to the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
