On November 26, 2021 with the participation of the Head of the State Archival Service of Ukraine Anatolii Khromov, Director of the State Archives of the Sumy Region Yurii Oliinyk, Director of the State Archives of the Khmelnytskyi Region Kateryna Burduvalis and Deputy Director of the State Archives of the Odesa Region Serhii Krachkov, a cooperation agreements with FamilySearch International (USA) were signed. 

From the FamilySearch corporation side the event was attended by Oleksandr Sichkarenko — the corporation’s official representative in Ukraine.

Since the Memorandum of Cooperation between FamilySearch and State Archival Service of Ukraine was concluded, 12 agreements between Ukrainian State Archives and FamilySearch corporation have been already signed. All of them provide for the digitization of genealogical documents.
